NJ Sharing Network welcomes new leadership

This leadership transition aims to propel the organization’s mission to save and enhance more lives than ever before.

NJ Sharing Network, the federally designated nonprofit organization that works to saves lives through organ and tissue donation, has announced the election of new officers and appointment of two new members to its governing board of trustees. Dr. Patrick Buddle, a long-time supporter and living kidney donor himself, has been elected chairman of the board.

Jay Arisso Jr., lead pastor of Today’s Church in Elizabeth and a certified grief recovery specialist, will serve as vice chairman. Laura W.



Patt, who works in finance, takes on the role of treasurer, while Dr. Mary A. Ditri, who works in the healthcare field, will serve as secretary.

Joining the board as new members are Jane Buckiewicz, a volunteer with a personal connection to organ donation, and Dr. Nitin Puri, a critical care specialist and associate professor of Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. “We are thrilled to welcome our new slate of board officers and members as we continue our vital work,” said Carolyn M.

NJ Sharing Network works to save and enhance lives through the recovery of donated organs and tissue.

Headquartered in New Providence, Sharing Network partners with 54 local hospitals to bring hope to nearly 4,000 New Jersey residents awaiting a lifesaving organ transplant, while also contributing to the national effort to support more than 100,000 individuals on the U.S. transplant waiting list.
