Held at Heritage Park in Taguig on Monday, April 21, Aunor’s children—Ian, Lotlot, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth—struggled to hold back tears during the solemn mass as their late mother received her final blessing. Director Joel Lamangan, veteran actress Celia Rodriguez, and Jamie Rivera, among others, took turns delivering eulogies, recalling Aunor’s unparalleled talent, generosity, and contributions to Philippine cinema.
