VEHARI - A grand prize distribution ceremony was organised by Afaaq Group of Schools and Colleges to honour its outstanding students who have consistently secured top positions in the Multan Board examinations for several years.

VEHARI - A grand prize distribution ceremony was organised by Afaaq Group of Schools and Colleges to honour its outstanding students who have consistently secured top positions in the Multan Board examinations for several years. The event celebrated students who excelled academically and secured admissions to prestigious universities. During the ceremony, over Rs700,000 and certificates of appreciation were distributed among more than a dozen brilliant students, including Urooj Ghaffar Klassen, Abeera Fatima, Zubair Hameed, and Gul Afroze.

Notably, Urooj Ghaffar received Rs300,000 for securing second position in Multan Board and another Rs100,000 for gaining admission to NUST University. Similarly, Abeera Fatima and Zubair Hameed were awarded Rs100,000 each for their admissions to King Edward Medical College. The event was hosted by Principal Abdul Ghaffar Klassen and Muhammad Akram Sial, with renowned TV and radio hosts Ubaidullah Sahir, Muhammad Moeez, and Hasnain Akram Gosora managing the stage proceedings.



Director Agriculture Ashiq Hussain Sanghi and senior analyst and former Press Club President Mukhtar Ahmad Bhatti were the chief guests. Among the distinguished attendees were Muslim Sher Joiya, Malik Badr Mahmood, Akhtar Sahi, Rana Saqib Iftikhar, Sarfraz Khan Pehoor, Abdul Hameed Siddiqui, Additional Secretary Vehari Press Club Anwar Aftab Latif, Akmal Jandran, Mujahid Abbas Sorrow, Rana Abbas, Munir Ahmad Joiya, Abdul Latif, Muhammad Sagheer, Waqar Azeem Lodhi, Malik Mushtaq Ahmad, Sher Muhammad, Asghar Baig, and Malik Abdul Ghaffar. Addressing the gathering, Principal Abdul Ghaffar Klassen said, “We are deeply thankful to Almighty Allah for granting us great respect and success.

These achievements are the result of the students’ hard work, the dedication of teachers, and the sacrifices made by parents.” He emphasized that while this success is a remarkable first step, the real challenge lies ahead in proving their excellence at top national universities. The vibrant event also featured cultural performances, including Punjabi dances and poetry recitations by students.

The ceremony concluded with a lavish dinner in honor of the guests and students..
