Paddy 'The Fatty' Pimblett is coming back.

Paddy Pimblett gave a surprising answer about how much weight he'd gained only a week after his victorious performance at UFC 314. The Englishman is freshly removed from his lightweight bout TKO victory against Michael Chandler in front of the Miami crowd, continuing his undefeated run in the UFC and inching ever closer to earning himself a shot at the world title. However, it seems he's at the stage of enjoying himself post-camp and post-fight based on what he revealed, essentially confirming that it's time to go from Paddy 'The Baddy' to Paddy 'The Fatty.

' Speaking on Bruce Buffer's "It's Time!" podcast, Pimblett revealed that he has gained about 42lbs since his weigh-in prior to the Chandler bout, having jumped from 156lbs to 198lbs in the span of about a week. "On Sunday, I had about five milkshakes after the fight. This morning, I woke up like 198lbs, which is fat.

That's about the heaviest, I guess. "In the States, their food makes me into a machine. I'm just massive in the States.

I love fighting. The one thing I don't think any of us like doing, is making weight. But that's what we have to do.

" The jump in weight is quite impressive considering the short span of time, though, it's not as surprising considering the reputation of the USA's food. Pimblett looks as if he's been enjoying the time off since his fight, all while poking fun at his current body condition. Soon, however, he'll have to go back to work on his next target.

What Next For Paddy Pimblett As previously mentioned, Pimblett has continued his run of victories since joining the UFC back in 2021, now with seven wins in as many bouts, all while winning Performance of the Night in five of those appearances. The Liverpool native now ranks eighth in the UFC lightweight rankings, and is slowly looking more and more like a contender to Islam Makhachev 's throne. His professional record in mixed martial arts is now 23-3.

Paddy Pimblett's professional MMA record (as of 21/04/25) 26 fights 23 wins 3 losses By knockout 7 0 By submission 10 1 By decision 6 2 The 30-year-old is already looking at numerous targets above him in the rankings for his next fight, having called out Charles Oliveira , Justin Gaethje , Arman Tsarukyan, and Dustin Poirier in his post-fight interview. While not mentioned, there is also the prospect of fighting Ilia Topuria , with the extra spice of their feud added into the mix. Though, from what has been heard since, Oliveira and Tsarukyan are more interested in Makhachev than taking on Pimblett.

Nothing is confirmed as of now for one of the UK's biggest stars on the MMA scene, though, the targeted return is set for around October at least based on what he told Buffer on the podcast. He also talked about how the Chandler fight was "the biggest win of my career by a mile" and that his performance felt more dominant compared to what the American had faced with the likes of Oliveira and Gaethje. The upwards trend continues for the 30-year-old, who's been meeting each challenge in front of him with resounding success.

And the longer he keeps this up, the more seriously his targets will have to look at him as a true threat. Paddy Pimblett bumped into the boss, Dana White, backstage at UFC 314 after he dismantled Michael Chandler in three rounds..
