Police have appealed for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a van. Devon and Cornwall Police said a man in his 60s was hit by a grey Vauxhall van on Winner Hill Road, Paignton at about 18:20 BST on Monday. They said the man had been taken to hospital with serious injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening.
