Recently, Henry Tufnell, the Member of Parliament for Mid and South Pembrokeshire, visited the Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages bottling site in Princes Gate. The visit included a guided tour of the Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages site in Narberth, where Princes Gate and Nestlé Pure Life waters are bottled at source. This marked Mr.
Tufnell's first visit to the factory since his appointment in July 2024. Mr. Tufnell met the factory manager, Matthew Faulkner, and engaged with factory staff.
He heard about the site’s commitment to be a good neighbour, steward water resources and help regenerate local water cycles, including the new project in Pembrokeshire in collaboration with the dairy co-operative First Milk. Matthew Faulkner, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Mr. Tufnell to our factory.
This visit provided a wonderful opportunity to introduce our team and showcase our factory and what we do. “We take pride in being part of the local community and are committed to supporting local initiatives and helping create a positive water impact locally.” Mr Tufnell, said: “I was delighted to visit the Princes Gate bottling site to meet Matthew and his team, and hear more about the work they do in my constituency.
“I learned about their operations, sustainability initiatives, and commitment to local employment. Businesses like this play a crucial role in our economy and it’s important that they operate responsibly and contribute positively to our community.” The workforce at the bottling site in Narberth, nestled in the picturesque Pembrokeshire countryside, consists of more than 120 employees, including specialists in production, warehouse operations, quality, safety, and water management, with the majority residing within a 20-mile radius of the factory.
