As the final season of You premieres on Netflix, Penn Badgley showed a fun side, different from his dark character, Joe Goldberg, by dancing to Somebody's Watching Me. Penn Badgley’s You season 5 is here. And, oh boy.
It has lived up to our expectations. Penn, who has been busy with promotional diaries, recently made an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Now, a video of Penn showing his energetic moves in Hudson’s Spirit Tunnel has surfaced online.
Wearing a cream outfit, Penn entered the hallway and started grooving to the beat while the crew sang Somebody’s Watching Me by Doechii. What made it even more entertaining was the crew’s twist on the lyrics, as they added Penn Badgley’s name at the start instead of the original words. Those who follow Penn Badgley know that he enjoys dancing and often posts clips on social media.
But his latest dance moment during the talk show stood out. It was fun, full of energy and left everyone stunned. Fans loved it and felt that everything, from the setup to the music, was just perfect.
Many even claimed that it was one of his best and most entertaining dance videos so far. As You officially comes to an end, Penn Badgley recently spoke with ET about how it felt to say goodbye to Joe Goldberg. The actor said, “I’ve grown with Joe, kind of like on my back, gnawing at my neck.
In some ways, I feel like I’ve learned a lot from him, you know, how not to be. I don’t mean the obvious things, like killing, murdering and manipulating. I mean the more subtle things like where desire intersects with love and makes us become possessive and act in ways that are not actually loving.
It is bittersweet. Much sweeter than it is bitter, but nonetheless." Penn Badgley shared that he feels the ending of the Netflix series, where his character ends up in prison, was done well.
He usually doesn’t find endings easy to enjoy, but this one felt right to him. He believes it wrapped up the story in a “satisfying" way. Other than Penn Badgley, You also stars Charlotte Ritchie, Madeline Brewer, Griffin Matthews, Anna Camp, Natasha Behnam, Pete Ploszek, Tom Francis and Nava Mau.
