NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP Theft: Chad Lawrence Wroblewski, 40, of Pittsburgh and Kelly Lynn Ross, 38, of Lower Burrell are accused of cashing a check for $5,136 to install a pool in 2023 at a North Union Township home, but never performing the work. According to a criminal complaint filed Monday, state police allege the duo made promises to build a pool for about a year before cutting off contact with the customer. A warrant has been issued for both Wroblewski and Ross, who are both charged with theft by deception, deceptive business practices, conspiracy to commit theft by deception and receiving advance payment for services and failing to perform them.
SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP Terroristic threats: Christopher Kell, 39, of Uniontown, is accused of threatening to kill his wife by pushing a pistol into her chest during an argument on Friday night. State police allege he also pushed her into a closet, resulting in a shoulder injury. He is charged with terroristic threats and simple assault.
He is in Fayette County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for next month. Terroristic threats: Isaiah Bean, 26, of Brownfield is accused of pointing a gun at his wife and threatening to harm her and himself after an argument on Sunday around 11 p.m.
According to state police, Bean fled at a slow rate of speed before he pulled over at the intersection of Brownfield and Hopwood Fairchance roads. Police contend that while Bean was on the ground he resisted arrest and troopers had to use “compliance strikes.” Police allegedly found a pistol in the vehicle.
He is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment, disorderly conduct and DUI. Bean is in Fayette County jail in lieu of a $30,000 bond with a preliminary hearing scheduled for next month. SPRINGHILL TOWNSHIP Burglary: Stephan Butler, 47, of Wind Ridge faces a felony burglary charge after allegedly entering a home in Springhill Township, Greene County, on Monday to try to talk to the resident in violation of a protection-from-abuse order, according to a complaint.
Butler is also charged with harassment through repeated communications, a misdemeanor, and summary offenses of damaging property and disorderly conduct. His bail was set at $20,000..
