The Lufkin Police Department did not release a daily media report Sunday. ——— The Lufkin Police Department made five arrests late Saturday through late Sunday. Arrests and charges include: Ashley Horn, 37, of Lufkin, warrant for engaging in organized criminal activity; Miguel Angel Mijares, 55, of Lufkin, criminal trespass of a habitat/shelter/Superfund/infrastructure; Chad Hughes, 40, of Lufkin, possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana; Deion Matthew-Duane Mims, 30, of Lufkin, assault of a family or household member impeding breathing/circulation; and Lindsay Kimberly Bailey, 36, of Huntington, warrants for parole violation, failure to appear and assault/family violence.
——— The Diboll Police Department arrested Burt John Duer, age unavailable, of Lufkin, Sunday on a charge of public intoxication. ——— The Hudson Police Department arrested Tishanna Lynn Ross, 43, of Lufkin, Saturday on a charge of assault by contact. ——— The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made five arrests late Saturday through late Sunday.
Arrests and charges include: Kevin Montise Nabors, 40, of Lufkin, warrant for sex offender’s duty to register for life/90 days; Cedric Derell Bell, 36, of Lufkin, warrants for theft of property valued at $2,500-$30,000, no insurance and two counts of no driver’s license; Steven Alan Baker, 58, of Lufkin, warrants for possession of less than 1 gram of a penalty group 1 controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt (driver/passenger), no vehicle registration, driving while license invalid and failure to identify a fugitive by intentionally giving false information; Robert Dwayne Cooper, 59, of Lufkin, warrants for theft, failure to identify, seven counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and 42 counts of public intoxication; and Bradley Gene Graham, 48, of Lufkin, warrants for failure to appear for assault causing bodily injury/family violence and violation of protective order intended to prevent offenses caused by bias or prejudice. ——— The Texas Department of Public Safety made six arrests late Saturday through late Sunday. Arrests and charges include: David Houser, age unavailable, of Woodville, driving while license invalid with a previous conviction or suspension without insurance; Niadrai Andrea Smith, age unavailable, of Lufkin, driving while license invalid without insurance; Zena Creashay Lewis, 29, of Diboll, warrant for resisting arrest, search or transport; Daylan Ismael Pecina, 19, of Diboll, driving while intoxicated with a blood/alcohol content greater than 0.
15; Pamela Page Poe, 40, of Lufkin, warrant for no insurance; and Jose Francisco Escobar, 26, of Diboll, driving while license invalid with a previous alcohol suspension. ——— The Angelina County Jail housed 264 inmates as of 11:45 p.m.
