The Lufkin Police Department did not release a daily media report Saturday. ——— The Lufkin Police Department made nine arrests late Friday or early Saturday. Arrests and charges include: Carvin Dewayne Olford, 30, of Lufkin, warrants for organized retail theft of $750-$2,500 and bail jumping and failure to appear; Sophia Delina Brown, 55, of Lufkin, warrants for a fictitious registration and no insurance; Marcus Deandre Taylor, 40, of Lufkin, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for assault of a family or household member with a previous conviction, five counts of a parent contributing to nonattendance, no insurance, displaying expired license plates, no driver's license, assault/family violence and driving or riding in a vehicle without a seat belt; Kethan Tyrell Buckley, 37, of Lufkin, warrant for aggravated robbery; Ronika Rashun Briggs, 33, of Lufkin, warrant for causing an accident involving $200 or more in damages to a vehicle; Tony Ray McKind, 33, of Lufkin, no insurance, no driver's license and warrants for no driver's license, lack of a child safety seat system, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia; Chad Jeremy Burgess, 49, of Lufkin, possession of less than 1 gram of a penalty group 1 controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and warrants for no insurance and no driver's license; James Laroe May, 59, of Lufkin, warrant for parole violation/indecency with a child; and Crystal Dawn Pearce, 35, warrants for assault of a public servant and assault causing bodily injury.
——— The Diboll Police Department arrested Randy James Procell, 28, of Lufkin, Saturday on charges of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle and unlawful carrying of a weapon. ——— The Angelina County Sheriff's Office made two arrests late Friday or early Saturday. Arrests and charges include: Jovanna Rochelle McCrea, age unavailable, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, driving while license invalid and no insurance; and Zavian Lashod Daniels, 40, of Lufkin, assault of family or household member with a previous conviction.

Arrests and charges include: Karis Paige Russell, 18, of Huntington, possession of 1-4 grams of a penalty group 2 controlled substance; Lora Bocook Morales, 53, of Lufkin, warrant for public intoxication; Carlos Miguel Vargas Garcia, age unavailable, of Pollok, no driver's license, no insurance and operating a motor vehicle with expired license plates; Ashley Marie Poole, 42, of Lufkin, possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana; Bernardino Contreras, 37, of Houston, tampering with a government record; Jakob Daniel Aguilar, 19, of Lufkin, driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon; and Jimmy Dave Russell Jr., 60, of Mabanil, DWI (third or more).
