On Monday evening eight juniors took part in an 18 hole Stableford competition on Monday night, in the first of three Pro AM qualifying rounds. At the end of the round it was Alfie Sully with a massive 42 points who was the winner just one clear of second place Regis Swindle with an equally fantastic 41 points. Congratulations and very well done to all who entered, the scores were all super close! The next Junior Club Night at T&P will be taking place on Monday, April 28.
On Tuesday the Ladies Section played the first of their three Pro Am qualifying rounds the results of which will be announced after they have all been completed. Trevor French has arranged his Captain’s Away Day on Thursday 5th June at Stover Golf Club, which is situated just off the A38 in South Devon. The day will comprise of a bacon bap and coffee on arrival, a round of golf and a one course meal.
Tee off times will be from 11am and the groups will be three or four ball with two to count. Anybody who’d like to join Trevor for what each year is one of the highlights of the Captains time in office is invited so sign up on the noticeboard. The Pro Am 2025 is the 33rd to be hosted by T&P and provides an opportunity for Club Captain, Trevor French and Ladies’ Captain, Hilary Parker to raise funds for their chosen charity, AGE UK SOMERSET.
