Makayla had two hits and drove in two runs as Morris Knolls, No. 17 in the NJ.com statewide Top 20, defeated Mount Olive, 5-3, in opening-round play of the Morris County Tournament in Rockaway.

It was the eighth straight win for the Golden Eagles, now 9-3.
