Rape, murder suspect buried under ASP’s supervision

Gujar khan - The body of rape and murder suspect, who was killed with the firing of his friends in attempt to free him from police custody in Mandra on Monday night, was buried in a local Christian cemetery under the supervision of ASP Gujar Khan on Wednesday as his heirs refused to receive his body. According to details, Suneel was arrested by Mandra police on Monday for allegedly raping his 7-year-old neice after slashing her throat with scissors and crushing her head with a brick in a deserted building on the eve of Easter on Sunday. According to police sources, no legal heir of the suspect visited the THQ Hospital’s mortuary to receive his body by Wednesday after his postmortem was performed on Tuesday, and allowed the police to make the arrangements at their own disposal, and the body was buried in a Christian graveyard by police with the help of local tehsil administration.
