RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) -- Prepare to be swept back to your childhood with a heartwarming classic, as Raleigh Little Theatre presents Schoolhouse Rock Live.

This high-energy musical brings the iconic Saturday morning cartoon to life, offering a unique blend of entertainment and education. The audience will follow Tom, a nervous young teacher, as he discovers the magic of learning through catchy songs and creative storytelling covering subjects like history, grammar, math, and more. "The kids will love it because there's a lot of singing and dancing, but by singing these songs, they're retaining all this knowledge they didn't know, like multiplication, addition, and subtraction.



The characters are making it so much fun," said Director Kathleen Rudolph.One of the actors also helped to explain the plot."Our message is to help encourage Tom.

I portray Shulie, along with George, played by Nick and Dina, played by Claire, help Tom. The three of us are Tom's inner voice, and we tell him he can be the teacher he wants to be," said Sydney Jerome, who plays Shulie. The show will run at the Raleigh Little Theatre from May 3 to 11 in Raleigh Little Theatre's picturesque outdoor amphitheater.
