MUZAFFAR GARH - Awareness seminar on heat stroke organized by Rescue 1122, attended by students and citizens of schools and colleges in seminar, experts at the seminar informed about heat stroke. Rescue 1122 personnel also performed practical to rescue a heat stroke patient. Addressing the seminar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Awaid Irshad Bhatti said that due to the severity of the weather, heat stroke could take the form of a disaster.
Temperatures have reached 41 degrees in Muzaffargarh on Saturday. He said that every year, heat stroke causes many lives loss, the management of providing awareness of people’s heat stroke is allocating a room in all schools, colleges and government offices for the cooling center. The seminar was also addressed by DEO Rescue 1122 Engineer Obaidullah Khan and informed about the heat stroke.
