Robber killed by accomplices

LAHORE - A robber of the inter-provincial gang was killed in an exchange of firing between the police and his accomplices on Saturday. According to Crime Control Department (CCD) Iqbal Town sources, there was an exchange of firing between the CCD and the robbers. The accused opened indiscriminate firing on the policemen to get free their detained accomplice.

The police were taking the accused to recover stolen goods and arrest his accomplices.The accused was injured due to the firing of his accomplices who died on way to hospital. The accused was involved in various robberies.
