Royal Pains is getting an update! A new sequel show to the former USA Network series is in the works at NBC, and Mark Feuerstein is set to reprise his role as Dr. Hank Lawson, via THR . The medical dramedy originally ran for eight seasons on the USA Network from 2009 to 2016.
Mark plays a surgeon who joins his brother ( Paulo Costanzo ) as a concierge doctor for wealthy residents of the Hamptons. He will also be an executive producer on the new show. Royal Pains co-creator Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch , a writer and executive producer on the original, are writing a script and will executive produce as well.
