After the launch of its flagship Galaxy S series smartphones, Samsung is gearing up for its next flagship launch- the Galaxy Z 7 series. The series includes two smartphones- the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. If rumours are to be believed, the South Korean tech giant can drop the two new smartphones on July 23, 2025.
While the company has not shared any official details about the smartphones, rumours suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 can bring notable upgrades in design, camera, and performance. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to carry a 200-megapixel main camera, similar to the one seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. If this rumour turns out to be true, this will mark the first time a non-Korean foldable from Samsung will feature such a powerful camera. The rest of the setup might remain unchanged: a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, 10-megapixel telephoto sensor, 10-megapixel selfie camera on the cover display, and a 4-megapixel under-display lens for inner selfies.
On the performance front, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon processor, although the exact model is yet to be confirmed. In India, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is likely to be priced at Rs 1,64,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. However, this is yet to be confirmed.
Furthermore, if rumours are to be believed, Samsung can also debut its tri-fold smartphone during July’s Unpacked event.
