Republican-backed Jeffrey Brown, the current undersheriff, who is running for Saratoga County sheriff; Edward Kinowski, the Republican Stillwater supervisor; Michael Traider, who is seeking to be the Clifton Park highway superintendent and Stephanie Ranze, the Clifton Park town clerk, all filed lawsuits last week seeking to have their opponents — who are backed by Democrats — blocked from being listed on the June 26 primary ballot.
