While the woman’s identity and the specifics of the medical procedure remain under seal, prosecutors are urging the court to admit the evidence in the upcoming trial.
They argue it illustrates the disturbing depth of Combs’ alleged control and manipulation over his victims. During the hearing, Judge Arun Subramanian questioned whether the undisclosed medical procedure was tied to the sex trafficking charges against Sean “Diddy" Combs. Prosecutors confirmed that it was indeed connected.
The 55-year-old music mogul has pleaded not guilty to all five federal charges: two counts of sex trafficking, two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, and one count of racketeering. Among the witnesses expected to testify is Cassie Ventura, Combs’ former girlfriend, whose name has long been linked to abuse allegations. Three additional women, identified by pseudonyms, will also take the stand, sharing their own harrowing experiences.
The infamous hotel assault video involving Cassie was another key topic. While Combs’ defense team claimed the footage might be doctored, prosecutors pushed back, stating that the person who captured the surveillance clip on an iPhone will testify. This, they say, validates the footage and clears the way for it to be shown in court.
Combs’ attorneys had earlier sought a delay in proceedings, but Judge Subramanian denied the request, confirming that jury selection will move forward as planned on May 5. The trial is expected to feature highly sensitive material, with prosecutors hinting at the inclusion of the so-called “freak-off" tapes. Diddy was present in court during the April 25 hearing, where he listened intently as the judge ruled on several pivotal matters.
