Shaheen Shah Afridi's Adorable Son Makes First Public Appearance At Lahore Qalandar's Celebration In PSL

Shaheen, who is married to former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha, became the father of a baby boy, named Aliyaar Afridi, in August 2024. Star Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi recently revealed his son Alyaar’s face to the public for the first time ever during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match on Wednesday. The Lahore Qalandars pacer was viewed celebrating his team’s victory over Karachi Kings with his son, with images going viral on social media.

This marked a departure from earlier instances where Shaheen had shared photos of Alyaar but kept his face hidden. Shaheen, who is married to former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha, became the father of a baby boy, named Aliyaar Afridi, in August 2024. Shaheen was playing for Pakistan in the first Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi during the time of his child’s birth, and after the conclusion of the match, which his side lost by 10 wickets, the 24-year-old left-arm pacer travelled to Karachi to reunite with his wife and son.



He took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to post a picture with his son and captioned it, “This moment changes everything! My heart is full and my life just got a whole lot better. 24/08/2024 will always be special to us. Welcome to the world my son, Aliyaar Afridi.

" In his post, he also thanked his wife, Ansha, for all the pain and suffering she had to endure. “I will forever be thankful to my wife for all the pain and sufferings she had to endure. She is literally the support system of our little family.

I am grateful for all the lovely wishes and prayers coming our way. Remember my little family in your prayers." Shaheen, who is Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker in World Test Championship (WTC) history, tied the knot with Ansha last year in February, ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 season.
