Qatar tribune QNA Riyadh Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met with Speaker of the Shura Council of Saudi Arabia Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sheikh in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday. At the outset of the meeting, the speaker of the Shura Council of Saudi Arabia emphasised the depth of the historical fraternal relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia. He noted that cooperation between the Shura Councils of the two countries represents a vital path that contributes to strengthening these relations and joint coordination at various levels.
He also noted that such visits represent a valuable opportunity to exchange expertise and develop prospects for legislative work, which benefits state institutions and society. In turn, the speaker of the Shura Council highlighted the solid and well-established relations between the two countries, and their continuous development under the wise directives of the leaderships of the two fraternal countries. He stressed that parliamentary cooperation between the two councils constitutes an important dimension of bilateral relations, and reflects the commitment of both sides to institutional and legislative development in a manner that keeps pace with the aspirations of the two peoples, and enhances the vital role of Gulf parliaments in supporting joint Gulf action.
