Snickers Pizookie coming to BJ’s Restaurants — but not the broccoli cheddar one

The Broccoli Cheddar Pizookie, slated to debut at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse nationwide, won’t be coming to restaurants after all.Instead, BJ’s will be releasing a Snickers Pizookie.“We've come to our senses.

Turns out, hunger really can make you do crazy things, like seriously considering a Broccoli Cheddar Pizookie. But then we had a Snickers—and everything clicked, a Snickers Pizookie,” a news release said.The Snickers Pizookie will feature vanilla ice cream, chocolate cone coating, caramel sauce and Snickers pieces atop a freshly baked brown sugar cookie.



"After relaunching our successful Fryckle Pizookie, we were torn on what Pizookie to launch to our guests next—a Broccoli Cheddar Pizookie or a more traditional, sweet Pizookie," said Heidi Rogers, senior vice president of marketing at BJ's Restaurants, Inc. "After flirting with the idea of another savory Pizookie our sweet tooth kicked in and we knew we had to give BJ's guests everything they deserve and more—a Pizookie® made to be shared, savored and celebrated together.”The new Snickers Pizookie will be available to dine-in customers beginning on April 17.
