Sol Azteca Mexican Kitchen, a family-owned Mexican restaurant located in Mesa, is getting ready to open a new location in South Chandler on the northeast corner of Arizona and Riggs. The company’s second location is set to move into a new development that will include a handful of new tenants, including Morning Glory Brunchery, D’Moonlight Nails, Twisted Sugar, and more. When it opens, customers can expect a clean, casual atmosphere with friendly counter service and the aroma of freshly cooked Mexican food. The space is family-friendly, offering both indoor seating and outdoor tables. A self-serve salsa bar adds a personal touch, letting guests customize their meals with a variety of house-made salsas.
The menu includes a variety of burritos, tacos, and masa-based dishes, with popular items like the Molcajetito and street tacos drawing regulars. Sol Azteca also offers a selection of aguas frescas, beer, and margaritas. Since opening in 2018, the Cortez family has maintained a loyal following in the East Valley community.
Their commitment to quality and consistency has helped the restaurant become a local favorite, especially among those looking for homestyle Mexican cooking. Now they will expand the company for the very first time. This will be an excellent location for the company’s second location.
Situated near the new Lennar development at Asher Pointe, which features over 300 homes, the area is in a high-income trade zone. Households within a one-mile radius average over $120,000, according to Loopnet. The site also benefits from high traffic volumes, with 27,205 cars passing by on Arizona Avenue and 20,374 cars passing by on Riggs Road.
Additionally, the property’s proximity to major roadways enhances accessibility for potential customers. These factors create a great location for Sol Azteca Mexican Kitchen’s new location.Photo: Official.
