‘Someone Stole A Key, Tried To Open My Room’: Mouni Roy Recalls Scary Hotel Experience

Having started her journey with television, Mouni Roy went on to make her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold and was later seen in Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. She impressed one and all with her performance. She is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film The Bhootnii.

Busy with the promotional activities, she recently recalled a scary hotel experience which happened with her during one of her travels. A post shared by Bollywood Buzz (@bollytellybuzz) Talking to Bollywood Bubble about the same, she revealed that the unsettling incident happened when she was in a small town. A stranger had stolen the key to her room and had tried to open it.



However, they were unsuccessful because she was with her manager that day. Once they realised what was happening, they started screaming. When they informed the receptionist about it, their concerns were dismissed.

Thankfully, I wasn't alone; I was with my manager. We started screaming when we realised what was happening.

Then we tried calling the receptionist. They casually said it must have been housekeeping. I questioned them, ‘Who in housekeeping is coming to open a door without knocking, without ringing the bell, and that too at 12:30 at night?’.

” A post shared by mon (@imouniroy) On the work front, Mouni Roy will be next seen in The Bhootnii, where she is seen essaying the role of a ghost named Mohabbat. The horror action-comedy also stars Sanjay Dutt, Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, Beyounick, and Aasif Khan in important roles. The movie will release on the big screens on May 1.
