Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has reacted to the Pahalgam terror attack carried out by Pakistan-backed terrorists who claimed the lives of 26 tourists on Tuesday. During the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals on Thursday, Gavaskar addressed the perpetrators and called for peace between India and Pakistan. For the last 78 years, not one millimetre of land has exchanged hands, is it? So for the next 78,000 years, nothing is going change. So why don't we live in peace instead, and make our country strong? So that is my appeal," he added. Earlier on Wednesday, many cricketers such as Virat Kohli , Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and Irfan Pathan paid tributes to the attack while seeking justice for their families.
