KUALA LUMPUR: Sunsuria Bhd's unit Sunsuria Damansara Sdn Bhd, has formed a joint venture with Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd to develop a new residential project in Kwasa Damansara, Selangor, with a projected gross development value (GDV) of RM492 million.This marks Sunsuria's maiden entry into Kwasa Damansara, involving a 3.83-hectare (ha) site valued at RM89 million, the group said in statement today.
The project will comprise 520 residential units including landed homes and condominiums to be delivered in phases starting from the third quarter of 2026.Kwasa Land, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and the township's master developer said the development is designed to cater to individuals and small families seeking a sustainable urban lifestyle."It is with great enthusiasm and optimism that we welcome Sunsuria to our list of distinguished partners who have chosen to work with us in building Kwasa Damansara," said Kwasa Land managing director Datuk Adenan Md Yusof.

"It provides a nurturing environment where families can grow, interact, and thrive together while embracing sustainability and modern conveniences."The development site benefits from strong connectivity, being located near established neighbourhoods such as Kota Damansara, Tropicana, and Sungai Buloh.It is accessible via six major highways including the NKVE, GCE, and DASH, and is served by two MRT stations on the Putrajaya and Kajang lines.
Kwasa Damansara, envisioned as a model green township, spans 914ha and is expected to deliver over 25,000 residential units, including 10,000 affordable homes, as well as parks, trails and education facilities. To date, Kwasa Land has secured partnerships with 16 developers, covering 780 acres of land and representing 59 per cent of its saleable land bank with an estimated GDV of nearly RM40 billion.© New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd.
