m. Sunday, RCMP responded to a report of a person being threatened with a firearm on Ida Street. When officers arrived, they were told that a 17-year-old male had left the location, but had pointed a firearm at a 23-year-old woman.
RCMP say they found the suspect and their investigation also led to the arrest of a 16-year-old girl. After searching both suspects, police say they found 130.3 grams of methamphetamine, 8.
2 grams of cocaine, 5.5 grams of crack cocaine, 17 Zopiclone pills and Canadian currency. Police estimate the combined street value of the drugs at about $27,500.
Marook, Manitoba RCMP’s police dog, searched for a firearm, but it was not found. The male youth, from Ebb and Flow First Nation, was charged with weapons and drug-trafficking offences and was being held in custody. The female youth is from Dauphin and faces a drug-trafficking charge.
