Charleston’s own Alli Stovall, a rising young entrepreneur and changemaker, is taking the TEDxCharleston stage on April 23, starting at 12:30 p.m., at Charleston Music Hall.

As the youngest speaker in this year’s lineup, Stovall will present a powerful and eye-opening talk titled “GEN Z Perspective,” diving headfirst into the realities, struggles, and untapped potential of her generation. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster. To skip online ticketing fees, tickets can also be purchased in person at the Charleston Music Hall box office on John Street during regular business hours.

In her talk, Stovall doesn’t shy away from the tough questions. She explores the widespread criticism of Gen Z, counters the stereotypes and calls for a stronger connection between generations. “I am beyond excited to share the struggles of living as a young person in today's society and encourage other generations to pour their wisdom into us,” said Stovall.

“It takes a village to raise a child, but we are ALL the village — and it is our responsibility to build the leaders we want to see. Throughout my talk, you will be encouraged and compelled to begin those vital intergenerational conversations.” Stovall is already making waves as a youth advocate, event planner, non-profit worker and Miss America Local Ambassador.

Now, she’s using the TEDx platform to spark meaningful conversations and inspire people of all ages to lean in, listen and lead. Visit https://www.ticketmaster.
