After the traumatic events of The Last of Us Season 2 Episode 2, things may get even worse soon – especially if we meet Isaac in Episode 3. It was the moment we were all dreading since Abby first appeared in the opening minutes of The Last of Us’ second season. In Episode 2, after vowing to kill Joel slowly, Abby finally got her revenge – and it was the most gut-wrenching scene of the show so far.
Those who played Part 2 know what happens next, but without getting into spoilers, it’s fair to say Joel’s death is the inciting incident that propels the original game. Joel killed Abby’s dad, and Abby killed Joel , so what’s next? Ellie wants to find Abby. From the trailer for Episode 3, it looks like we’ll see Ellie set off on her journey to Seattle – which could put her in the orbit of another villainous faction and their terrifying leader.

The Last of Us Episode 3 trailer teases WLF and Isaac The trailer for Season 2 Episode 3 focuses on the fallout of Joel’s death, but it also includes a big tease for the WLF when Dina shows Ellie their logo. “I know their names and I know where they’re from,” she tells her.
It shows brief glimpses of the WLF marching through Seattle, but no footage of Isaac (he’s appeared in other trailers). However, not only do we know that Isaac will appear in Season 2, but Jeffrey Wright is reprising the role from the game.
