The US Democratic Party is in crisis as it continues to hemorrhage it's values and identity to woke ideology.

com Today, Biden is 81 years old and he is running for re-election. Trumpism is anything but vanquished. And the Democratic Party no longer looks to be in transition.

The Squad feels more like a faction than a future. Few think leadership of the party will smoothly pass to Vice President Harris. Polls have long shown Democrats aren’t enthusiastic about Biden running for re-election, but he’s avoided any serious primary challenge or pressure to drop out.

"I am a bridge" Said Joe Biden. From the horses mouth and all comes the obvious admission that he's not actually a thing at all. Mearly a conduit from something to somewhere.

Woke ideology has poisoned the Dem party to such a level that it has become like it's leader, a hollow shell, only existing to be not something. Border control has been abandoned because that demands effort and virtue. Same for Student loans, A complete hands-off-the-wheel on the economy as well.

Far too much effort and risk there. (Coasting is ok for now so there's proof the non-policy Works). Foreign policy is like the POTUS, non existent.

Some mumbling around the edges of Israel/Ukraine but nothing of any substance whatsoever. Covid was allowed to fizzle itself out. However, clowns in the Whitehouse and DEI are all the rage.

The US, un-directed by it's governing party and sponsored by it's absent, woke swing vote has become adrift and rudderless. Ghost ships are ok in calm waters. In choppier seas, they have a habit of sinking or running around.

What the ever-living f*ck is "woke ideology"? Best answer: Anything Donald Trump disagrees with. By the way, look at the clownshow that is is the MAGA party: House Republicans have skipped town for Easter recess with their base enraged, their majority in tatters — and their speaker facing the prospect of a humiliating ouster at the hands of his own MAGA allies. The Senate’s passage of a $1.2 trillion spending bill at 2 am ET — narrowly averting a government shutdown — was perhaps the least dramatic development in a historic day on Capitol Hill. Click to expand.

.. The Democrats are the only party with coherent, popular and successful policies and the competence to implement them.

Republicans have gone with the fairies and Trump. Behind the scenes: Republicans were left fuming over the early resignations of Gallagher and Buck, with some suggesting it’s now within the realm of possibility for the House majority to flip to Democrats mid-Congress. Click to expand.

Its an interesting experiment though, its not so often you get such a cartoon reality served up as entertainment. Im here for it How original, shifting the lens away from the invisible to the visible. Understandable tbh.

It's exactly what the Dem party is about. "Don't look at me, look at him". Which is what one does when (as the OP proposes) you have no substance or firmament.

Will the Dem Party and it's ghost crew fight this next election from the basement again? I suspect so, in fact it will double down on its invisibility. It has no choice. It's commander in chief fades away a bit more each day.

It's sponsored by the post-Covid rebound. That won't last forever (already coming to a stop imho). Then, sat on your arse, in your basement, doing nothing and you or your crew refusing to be seen in daylight will quickly become a disaster.

I think the 2024 results will come as a hammer blow, apart from the most likely outcome that Trump wins bar shenanigans, it will also be the election that breaks the link between race and voting preferences. I believe Black men voting Republican will be the most noteworthy headline. silverharp said: I think the 2024 results will come as a hammer blow, apart from the most likely outcome that Trump wins bar shenanigans, it will also be the election that breaks the link between race and voting preferences.

. Not to mention the Dems are losing Hispanic votes to the GOP. If the link between skin colour and voting is happening all to the good for everyone.

I have some questions. What is 'woke ideology', where is its headquarters and is it a bit like Antifa, no organisational attributes whatsoever? Aw, Monty, you were missed. It's a pretty good yardstick for telling who's a fascist dickhead these days: they're terrified of "woke".

Here's a radical suggestion: just get on with your life. If I wanted to sue the people in charge of Woke, where would I send the legal documentation? Do they have an office over at Antifa headquarters? Lumpy Talbot said: I have some questions. .. It's a good question.

"What is Joe Biden?" "What does the Dem party actually stand for/do?" Equally good and valid imponderables to busy yourself in the small hours with. Googling your question comes up with mainly Dem-critical answers by people who also wonder where the f*ck the Dem party has vanished too. com This dire state of affairs has arisen, the authors propose, because the Democratic Party has been hijacked by a cadre of activists who have foisted unpopular positions on candidates and jettisoned their electability. The authors’ previous book was in fact correct, until its core predictions were waylaid by The Wokes. Yes, Democrats lost working-class voters Click to expand.

The answers are an equally good yardstick to flush out the paranoid commie wankers. Can you name any of these paranoid commie wankers that are in charge of Woke? .. Sorry, I'm not American.

I only care about US politics in so far as it affects the rest of the world. I am continually astonished that people like you seem to wake up in the morning and first thing you do is start frothing at the mouth over Joe Biden, "woke", and "communism". Boudoir Photo said: Sorry, I'm not American.
