With the Avengers currently out of the picture, a group of anti-heroes must put their differences aside and come together to stop the latest threat to humanity. Thunderbolts is a fresh and unique chapter in the MCU that’s bound to leave fans satisfied. The film balances intense action and comedic moments while also exploring deeper themes, including mental health.
One of the movie’s biggest strengths is its unusual mix of anti-heroes. The chemistry between the cast is excellent, and while some of these characters haven’t been in the spotlight much, Thunderbolts is a strong reminder of why they deserve a place in the MCU. David Harbour ’s Red Guardian is always a joy to watch.
He brings perfect comedic timing and a strong presence throughout. Florence Pugh returns as Yelena and absolutely steals the show—she’s a fan-favorite for a reason. The film also introduces a brand new face to the MCU: Bob, who becomes the powerful Sentry.
It’s exciting to see him join the universe, and it sparks real curiosity about his future role in the bigger picture. Action-wise, the movie delivers. The fight choreography is sharp and engaging, and it’s great to see that level of care and intensity shared across the whole cast.
What really makes Thunderbolts stand out is how grounded it feels. It doesn’t shy away from showing the emotional toll that life as a super-powered being can take. These honest moments give the film extra depth and a refreshing point of view.
The pacing is tight from start to finish. No scene drags or feels rushed – the story is given space to breathe, and each character gets their moment to shine. Overall, Thunderbolts is a thoroughly enjoyable superhero film and a welcome addition to the MCU.
It’s one fans won’t want to miss!.
