Tourist Family On OTT: When To Watch Sasikumar And Simran's Film After Its Theatrical Run

Tourist Family, directed by debutant filmmaker Abishan Jeevinth, is slated to release in a few days. Said to be a feel-good film with a strong emotional content, Tourist Family revolves around a Tamil family leaving Sri Lanka due to the nation's post-Covid economic crisis. Tourist Family On OTT Tourist Family will release on OTT end of May.

Talking about Tourist Family's clash with Suriya's Retro on May 1, the makers said in a promotional meet "Because of OTT, the decision to fix a release date wasn't fixed by us, the streaming platform we sold the film to have told us they ll release the film online end of May, we didn't have a choice so we fixed this as the release date". Talking about the film and working with a debut director, Sasikumar said "We need to support talented voices just like I received support back in the day. It is also a form of happiness to having introduced them, much like how it would be for a father to see his children thrive and flourish, “When I made the film, only the technicians know the story.



Now, when I hear the young generation of filmmaking narrating their scripts, I am in awe of them. In fact, when I became an actor and listened to their narrations, I learnt how to do it,” Sasikumar explains as he adds that he did keep the climax of his first film guarded given the twists and turns. “Now, I have learnt how to narrate and have begun to do it a lot more often than earlier when I only handed over scripts.

” The film stars M Sasikumar, Simran, Mithun Jai Sankar and Kamalesh in the lead roles, alongside Yogi Babu, M. S. Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, Sreeja Ravi.
