Tragic first: Young man commits suicide with lethal injection in Lahore

In a first-of-its-kind tragic incident in Lahore, a 22-year-old young man, identified as Danish, ended his life by injecting himself with a lethal dose in the Green Town area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. According to the report, the reasons behind the young man's extreme step remain unknown. Following the incident, police reached the site, took custody of the dead body, and started an investigation.

Earlier, in March 2026, a 26-year-old youth, Tanveer, shot himself dead after a domestic dispute in the Kahna area of Lahore. Despite initial medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities are now trying to piece together the circumstances leading to Danish's suicide to ascertain any possible reasons.
