Good Morning Britain fans were forced to do a double take as presenter Ed Balls debuted his golden tan on the morning news show. During Tuesday’s visit (April 29) to the ITV studios, the 58-year-old broadcaster woke up the nation alongside his co-host Susanna Reid . The dynamic duo discussed the biggest stories hitting the headlines including the appointment of Canada’s new Prime Minister and the latest campaigns against the gender Supreme Court ruling.
But minutes into the morning programme, fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their surprise at the former Shadow Chancellor dramatic new look. The dad-of-three rocked a golden glow from a recent holiday, which certainly wasn’t missed by fans who compared the politician to President Donald Trump . One user penned: "Has Balls gone a Trump shade of orange ???? #gmb" as another echoed: "Ed Balls turning into Tango Trump.
