Chennai: Police arrested two people in connection with chain and mobile snatching incidents in the city. In one incident at Vyasarpadi , a 20-year-old youth was arrested for snatching a gold chain a boy was wearing. The victim was returning home after football practice when R Vignesh, 20, demanded money from the boy to buy liquor, said police.
When the boy told him he didn't have any money on him, Vignesh assaulted him, snatched the gold chain he was wearing, and fled. On a complaint filed by the boy's mother, police arrested Vignesh.
