By Obaloluwa Joshua, LAGOS The Flying Eagles of Nigeria were officially welcomed to the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt on Monday, Prompt News reports. The formal welcome was handled by officials of the Confederation of African Football, CAF. The seven-time champions were educated on the tournament’s guidelines, code of conduct and logistical arrangements.
They were also moved from their temporary base, Jewel Sports City Hotel to the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cairo City. Aliyu Zubairu’s charges will continue their preparations for the competition at the Aerosport Training turf on Tuesday (today). Nigeria’s opening game is against Tunisia on Thursday at the June 30 Air Defence Stadium, Cairo.
The Group B fixture will kick-off at 4pm Nigeria time..
