Of late, Urvashi Rautela has been controversy's favourite child. From her reaction to Saif Ali Khan stabbing incident to her dance in Daaku Maharaaj, Urvashi Rautela has been making it to the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Despite all of it, her latest film Daaku Maharaaj became a box office hit.

Daaku Maharaaj released on January 12, 2025 and had Nandamuri Balakrishna playing the male lead. Urvashi Rautela, Bobby Deol, Ravi Kishan, Pragya Jaiswal and many others played pivotal roles in the film. The action film was directed by Bobby Kolli.

Post its theatrical release, the movie began streaming on OTT giant - Netflix. But not without drama. Fans were shocked when Urvashi Rautela was removed from the poster when Netflix made the announcement of Daaku Maharaaj premiere date.

Now the actress has reacted to the controversy. In a recent interview, Urvashi Rautela clarified that the poster was a mistake made by Netflix and it was unintentional. She shared that Netflix apologised to her team but by then fans had already reacted to it.

Urvashi Rautela further added that Netflix then released two new character posters in order to make up for the mistake. The new posters featured Urvashi Rautela, putting an end to the controversy. The actress said, 'No, actually, I’ll tell you what happened is about this entire thing.

It was a mistake by Netflix that they put a poster without the image. Afterwards, they also apologised to us, to our team, that it happened by mistake. But until then, the fans had seen the same thing, so they became aggressive, agitated.

But after that, to compensate, they made two posts of ours. After that, they put two of our posters with the image. So, it was not an unintentional (intentional) mistake by them.

' The film Daaku Maharaaj was embroiled in a major controversy over the dance steps pulled by Urvashi Rautela and Nandamuri Balakrishna in the song Dabidi Dibidi. The choreography was considered to be 'inappropriate' by many. Recently, the actress got trolled for forgetting the lyrics of the song.
