US closes Digicel corruption probe after Donald Trump executive order

A US probe into telecoms provider Digicel over possible violations of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) has ended, the group has informed investors. A memo to Digicel bondholders confirming that the investigation has closed is understood to have been circulated in the last week. The investigation had been running since last November.
