Gujar khan - Minister of State for Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani, announced that various public welfare projects in District Jhelum, including those related to health and education, are nearing completion. Addressing a ceremony in Domeli area of Sohawa, he highlighted that the upgradation of the Rural Health Centre in Domeli was almost complete. The facility is expected to match the healthcare standards of major cities like Lahore and Rawalpindi, he said.
The minister further stated that a new Tehsil Headquarters Hospital was being established in Dina, while funds have been allocated for water supply projects and the construction of paved streets in Rasoolpur and Domeli. Work on these initiatives is expected to begin soon, Mr. Kiyani added.
Minister Kayani also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completing the 128 km Lillah-Jhelum dual carriageway road project, noting that the road will benefit hundreds of thousands of commuters daily.
