The San Francisco Giants walked off with a win over the Texas Rangers on Sunday, but even they probably do not feel like they earned it. Heliot Ramos led off the bottom of the ninth inning for the Giants with the score tied 2-2. The outfielder chopped a weak ground ball toward third base, and Texas reliever Luke Jackson came off the mound to field it.
Jackson made an off-balance throw to first base that Jake Burger had no chance of stopping, and the ball skipped into right field. That was only the start of the mayhem. Ramos was initially content to stop at second, but he realized Burger was slow getting to the ball.
Ramos then decided to proceed to third, which forced a long throw from Burger. Burger's throw to third was also off the mark and allowed Ramos to score. The Giants walked off with a stunning 3-2 win.

Players learn at the lowest levels of baseball to never throw the ball around and compound their mistakes, which is exactly what the Rangers did. The Giants improved to 19-10 with the win, while Texas fell to 15-13.
