Andaz Apna Apna has been re-released in the theatres today, April 25. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, it features Aamir Khan and Salman Khan in the lead. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are widely considered to be among the best and successful on-screen Bollywood pairs.
Their chemistry has been lauded in a number of films, including 3 Idiots, Laal Singh Chaddha and Talaash, where their performances have resonated with audiences. Both of them have come a long way together and share a great bond as well. But did you know when they first met? Well, it was in 1994 on the sets of the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna, when Bebo was just around 12 years old.
Earlier in 2023, during the promotions of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir recalled his first encounter with Kareena on the sets of Andaz Apna Apna. Kareena was accompanying her elder sister Karisma Kapoor, who was also a part of the comic caper. Aamir Khan said, “I remember Kareena visiting us on set with Karisma.
She was this tiny, quiet little girl—very cute and a bit shy. I had no idea she would one day grow up to be one of the greatest actresses of our time." Talking about Andaz Apna Apna, the film has been re-released in the theatres today, April 25.
