According to Polish outlet Meczyki, Lewandowski has been set to undergo more tests in a bid to assess his current progress and likely return date. What seems clear is that Lewandowski will not be fit for Wednesday’s Champions League tie with Inter. Indeed it’s been reported by AS he will miss both legs of the match and Saturday’s La Liga fixture against Real Valladolid.

The current hope is that Lewandowski will be fit for league Clasico with Real Madrid at Montjuic on May 11. His return would be a huge boost for Barca during a packed schedule, with Hansi Flick’s side potentially able to win La Liga with another Clasico victory..
