The Channel 4 spin off aired from 2001-2010, running in conjunction with each series of Big Brother . Once Dermot left in January 2008, George Lamb took over for the very last series of the show, meanwhile Emma Willis presented the main show. Big Brother's Little Brother was later axed after the move to Channel 5, although it was initially said to return, but it instead was replaced with Big Brother's Bit On The Side.
After leaving the reality show, Natalie went on to star in sitcom Two Pints of Lager. The actress played the role of Donna and Natalie's character was known for her temper and being Gaz's long-term girlfriend and then wife. She spent a decade on the show, which revolved around five friends who enjoyed boozing in the pub, from 2001 till 2011.
Alongside co-star Will Mellor, the pair were the only two original main characters to appear in all nine series. Will previously revealed that he asked BBC Three bosses to bring back their iconic 90s hit show, when the channel relaunched. The actor, who played Gaz Wilkinson, at the time said that he and other cast members wanted the show to make a comeback.
Speaking to Mailonline, he said: “I said I would do another one, just to say thank you to the people who supported it because it ran for ten years. “Everyone still talks to me every day in the street about it. Every day, someone will mention it.
Their favourite show, growing up and, you know, had a cult following, and it'd be nice to do another series just to see where they are now. “We offered it to the BBC, and they said no. And I was just like, I was quite surprised because, you know, they brought Gavin And Stacey back for one, and I think Two Pints went a lot longer than that did.
“But the BBC Three launched their channel back, and I thought, what a perfect way to bring their channel back with a show that was a flagship of theirs. And they said no and they don't want to revisit it. So that was the end of that.
” Natalie shot to fame on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks , where she took on the role as Carol Groves for over five years. Many fans will recognise Natalie's voice for narrating numerous shows such as Dinner Date. She also went on to have a successful theatre career as she landed roles in major stage productions such as Fame, Legally Blonde.
In 2012, it was announced she would play Judy in the musical 9 To 5, in its first UK tour, alongside Bonnie Langford. As of 2022, Natalie has also been a narrator for Cash In The Attic. Despite being in the public eye over the years it seems as though Natalie has since decided to live a more private life away from the spotlight.
