Triple H is a former professional wrestler who has been part of WWF / WWE since 1995. At present, he is the Chief Content Officer at the company.
Is Triple H leaving WWE?Neither WWE nor Triple H has released any public statement regarding whether he is leaving the company. The rumors seemed to have stemmed from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s comments during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show and Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo’s subsequent reaction to them on their own podcast, The Coach & Bro Show. When asked about his absence during the match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, the Rock stated, “It was best for the Final Boss to not be involved in that finish at WrestleMania.
” He also told McAfee that while he loved the finish of the match, he would have “finessed things a little differently on how they got there, but that’s just me creatively.”The interview with McAfee prompted the Busted Open Radio host Dave LaGreca to criticize the Rock by claiming that he “threw Triple H under the bus” and shouldn’t have given his opinions about how the match should have unfolded. The Rock subsequently responded to LaGreca, stating that the wrestling business had always been “work” and invited the other man to join him, Cena, Rhodes, and Brian Gewirtz for their “creative discussions.
”Coachman and Russo seemed to believe, because of the above-mentioned interactions, that Triple H could leave WWE. Russo thinks that the Final Boss indicated that the promotion’s Chief Content Officer didn’t have a say in the climactic match of WWE’s biggest annual show. He also believes that Triple H is in a “horrible spot” at the company.
Who can replace Triple H as WWE’s chief content officer?Coachman speculated on the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast that the Rock might be interested in replacing Triple H with his close associate, Gewirtz, a former writer at WWE. Notably, the Rock is a board member of WWE’s parent company, the TKO Group Holdings. The post Why Fans Think Triple H Could Be Leaving WWE appeared first on ComingSoon.
