Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star Rohit Purohit is currently playing the role of Armaan in the show. The actor is happily married to Sheena Bajaj and the two tied the knot in January 2019. The two announced the news of their pregnancy.
Sheena is currently in her fourth month of pregnancy and the two shared the news on Instagram today. On the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya, the head-over-heels-in-love couple announced their pregnancy news. Sheena and Rohit spoke about their joyful news with TimesOfIndia.
Rohit said that he was shocked at first and once the news sank in, he had tears of joy. He even said that he could not react properly as he had to leave for the shoot. But, the two waited for the doctor's confirmation and the sonography.
He said that he always wanted to become a since he got married. Rohit also expressed his dream of having a baby girl. He said, "I'm hoping for a daughter, one with a nature that's a perfect blend of Sheena's and mine.
I'm excited to take care of her. While I feel mentally prepared to be a father, nothing can truly prepare you until the baby arrives. I guess time will teach me everything I need to know.
" Sheena revealed that she conceived at the end of January after their sixth wedding anniversary. The actress revealed how her husband has always loved kids and has wanted to have a child for the longest time. She said that she had undergone several injuries and was paralysed before working on Vanshaj.
She even said that the pregnancy took a bit longer due to her PCOD which led to infertility and other complications. She even revealed that Rohit is quite thrilled and excited for the arrival of the baby as he keeps talking to the baby and tells it to come soon. She said that he talks to her belly and she has to be extra cautious due to her surgeries.
On the personal front, Sheena and Rohit fell in love on the set of the show, Arjun in 2012. Sheena proposed to Rohit with a cake six months after the show ended. The two got married on January 22, 2019.
