David Luan is the co-founder and CEO of Adept, an AI startup that creates models capable of performing any computer task a human can. Before co-founding Adept, David served as VP of Engineering at OpenAI from 2017 to 2020, where he oversaw early-stage research projects across various subjects, including language models, supercomputing, reinforcement learning, safety, and policy teams. David co-founded Google Brain and led the effort on scale models.
