We miss her already.MANILA. “Superstar” and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts, Nora Aunor, was buried at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani in Taguig City on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
May Nora Aunor continue to be praised for her superlative talents. The recent retelling of Nora’s classic Himala in the last Metro Manila Film Festival was a turning point. It meant that new generations of storytellers and audiences are ready for a rebirth of the stories that Nora brought to life with her superpowers.
Nora’s passing makes Millennials, Gen Zs, and Gen Alphas aware now of who she was and how important her legacy is.May their generations also experience the gift of Nora’s glow through the films and songs that will be created about her.May the new generations of artists do justice to Nora’s classics.
May her life remind us that though she was the Superstar, she was, above all, truly and brilliantly human..
