Vehari - Deputy Commissioner Imrana Tauqeer visited Chak No. 13 and 75 WB to inspect the wheat crop’s Khasra and Girdawari process. She expressed satisfaction with the data collection and emphasized its importance for accurate crop estimates and effective government planning.
ADC Revenue Syed Usman Munir Bukhari, AC Ghazala Kanwal, and Tehsildar Malik Javed accompanied her during the visit. Earlier, she chaired a meeting to review the implementation of KPIs and government initiatives. She directed swift action on anti-encroachment and the Clean Punjab Program, stressed on promoting the “Connection with Alma Mater” initiative, and ordered necessary facilities for central graveyards in each tehsil.
The DC also highlighted tree plantation in schools, awareness on helmet use and driving licences, and construction of a paddle tennis court. She instructed strict measures for culling of stray dogs. The meeting was attended by ADC Revenue Syed Usman Munir Bukhari, AC Ghazala Kanwal, CEO Education Nasir Aziz, Municipal Officer Rao Naeem Khalid, and District Manager MWMC Arsalan Hamid.
Later, DC Imrana Tauqeer chaired a review session on the ongoing anti-polio campaign. CEO Health Dr Fahad Waheed briefed on the progress. The DC emphasized continued dedication from health officials and polio teams to ensure all children under five receive polio drops.
She also urged parents to protect their children from lifelong disability through timely vaccination. DHO Dr. Muhammad Fazil, Deputy Director Information Mian Naeem Asim, and WHO DSO Dr.
