Elsewhere in central Israel, including a high-rise apartment building in Tel Aviv, were also hit by Iranian missile strikes. At least 40 people were wounded in those attacks, which took place in several locations in the city, emergency responders said.
Israel Bombs Iran’s Arak Nuclear Facility
As a result, the Israeli forces carried out new air raids against Iran’s nuclear facilities, such as the heavy water reactor in Arak. Iranian officials, for their part, said the facility had been completely emptied of personnel before the strike while confirming that there was no radiation threat.

The violence came after Iran’s supreme leader issued stern warnings to the United States to step back from the conflict, in a striking replay of similar attacks on United States targets during the occupation of Iraq by the Islamic State. He said that any U.S. troops dispatched to the area would suffer “irreparable damage.”
